Concussions/Brain Injuries: 3
Cause: Car Accident, Other

Cortnie’s Story

My car accident resulted in post concussion syndrome. I had no idea this existed or could happen two years after the fact.

Having an Invisible injury has been difficult to say the least, having others trying to relate to my migraines and memory loss or tell me how to treat them has been frustrating. My migraines are different from theirs and they just don’t understand that.

I’m currently doing a multitude of treatments and hoping to see some improvement.

My advice to others is to be kind and patient with yourself, your pain is valid.
